The Professional Fighters Association has announced the addition of another highly anticipated fight to the upcoming main card of "Battle of the Titans"
The Professional Fighters Association (PFA) has announced another highly anticipated bout for the upcoming "Clash of the Titans" event, taking place on Saturday, October 19. The main card will kick off with a lightweight bout between former Bellator featherweight champion AJ McKee (22-1), who will face what he calls his toughest opponent of his career, champion Paul Hughes (12-1). McKee, who boasts the longest winning streak in Bellator history with 18 victories, will take on the Irishman, widely considered the world's best lightweight talent.
The Professional Fighters Association added this fight to an exceptional card headlined by mixed martial arts star and undisputed world heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou (17-3), who returns to the cage after a long absence.
The fighter who will face the MMA heavyweight champion Renan "Problima" Ferreira (13-3, 3 NC), who stands at 6 feet 8 inches tall, as Ferreira defeated Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader in just 21 seconds last February in the "MMA Champions vs Bellator Champions" competition held in Riyadh.
The co-main event will also feature another world title showdown, as the greatest mixed martial arts fighter of all time, Cris Cyborg (27-2, 1 NC), defends her title against two-division MMA champion Larissa Pachko (23-4), who is looking to prove she is the best in the world.
The event will take place in the modern cultural arena of “Meydan” in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which hosts major national and international events and activities in the heart of the capital, making it the ideal place for this huge event, “Battle of the Giants.” In addition, tickets for the event have been released for sale and can be purchased via the WeBook app. The “Battle of the Giants” show will be broadcast live on Saturday, October 19, via ESPN+ PPV in the United States and DAZN around the world.
