Weather forecast for today's Al-Ittihad vs. Al-Gharafa match: 25°C temperature and 65% humidity
Check the weather forecast for today's Al-Ittihad vs. Al-Gharafa match in Jeddah, part of the AFC Champions League. The weather is expected to be stable with a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (The Jewel).

The National Center for Meteorology has revealed details of the expected weather conditions in Jeddah this Tuesday evening, coinciding with the highly anticipated football match between Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad and Qatar's Al-Gharafa, as part of the AFC Champions League. The forecast indicates stable weather and favorable conditions for the coastal city to host this major sporting event at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (Al-Inma Stadium), also known as "The Shining Jewel.".
According to the weather report, moderate conditions are expected during the match, with temperatures reaching a comfortable 25 degrees Celsius, a relatively ideal temperature for evening matches in Jeddah, which will help players perform at their best. Regarding humidity, the center indicated it will be around 65%, a typical level for coastal areas. Winds will be northeasterly to northerly, with light speeds ranging between 10 and 14 kilometers per hour, which will contribute to ball stability and minimize the impact of weather conditions on the ball's trajectory.
This match holds particular significance as it falls within the AFC Champions League, the newly established and most prestigious edition of the continent's premier club competition. Al-Ittihad (the Dean) aims to capitalize on home advantage, the support of their fans, and the stable weather conditions to secure a positive result that strengthens their position in the group. The favorable weather is expected to motivate the club's large and passionate fanbase to fill the stadium and support their team in their continental campaign to reclaim the Asian glory the club once enjoyed.
From a technical and physical standpoint, weather plays a crucial role in high-level football matches. Moderate temperatures help conserve players' energy and reduce fatigue compared to the hot or humid conditions Jeddah is known for at other times of the year. These assurances from the meteorological department confirm Jeddah's readiness to welcome guests and deliver the match in the best possible light, befitting the reputation of Saudi and Asian football.
It is worth noting that King Abdullah Sports City Stadium is an architectural masterpiece and a sporting landmark for the Kingdom. It has hosted many major international and regional events, and its advanced infrastructure helps in dealing with various weather conditions. However, stable natural weather remains the best factor to ensure an enjoyable viewing experience for those in attendance and for those watching on screens.

Galtier: Al-Qadisiyah is a European team and Salman Al-Faraj is in a new position
Neom coach Christophe Galtier stressed the difficulty of facing Al-Qadisiyah in the Roshan League, praising the European quality of the opponent, and revealed a new attacking role for Salman Al-Faraj and the absence of Benrahma.

Amidst intensive preparations for the crucial match of the 22nd round of the Saudi Professional League, Frenchman Christophe Galtier, manager of NEOM FC, made some fiery statements reflecting the high level of anticipation surrounding the upcoming clash against Al-Qadisiyah FC. This match comes at a critical juncture in the season, as clubs strive to improve their positions in the standings, adding a fierce competitive edge to the encounter.
During the pre-match press conference, Galtier emphasized that facing Al-Qadisiyah is unlike any other league match, describing the opponent as possessing the qualities of "European clubs." The veteran French coach explained that this description stems from the high quality of Al-Qadisiyah's players, both physically and tactically, in addition to their formidable attacking arsenal.
In his technical analysis, the Neom coach pointed to Al-Qadisiyah's formidable attacking statistics, saying, "We are facing a team whose strikers have scored 30 goals, a high scoring rate that reflects their exceptional effectiveness in front of goal. Therefore, the key to the match for us lies in maintaining the highest levels of defensive focus and mental fortitude throughout the ninety minutes." These statements underscore the significant development of the Saudi League, where teams now possess a level of technical quality comparable to international leagues, thus intensifying the competition every week.
Regarding the tactical options for the Neom squad, coach Galtier surprised fans with a promising development concerning veteran captain Salman Al-Faraj. He hinted at the possibility of changing Al-Faraj's position and assigning him advanced attacking roles, explaining, "Salman Al-Faraj could have a pivotal role playing behind the strikers." This move is seen as an investment in Al-Faraj's extensive experience and keen vision of the field, as Galtier seeks to utilize his playmaking abilities and his capacity to break down the opponent's defensive formations from deep positions.
The conference was not without bad news for Neom fans, as Galtier confirmed the absence of Algerian star Said Benrahma from the match due to injury, without revealing precise details about the duration of the absence, but he expressed complete confidence in the ability of the substitutes to compensate for this deficiency and provide the required addition.
Galtier concluded by addressing the atmosphere of playing during the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing his complete respect for religious observances and their impact on the players' daily schedules. He stressed the need to manage both physical and mental aspects intelligently to ensure optimal performance despite the challenges of fasting. This match is considered a true test of NEOM's ambitions this season and an opportunity to prove themselves against one of the league's strongest teams.
