The management of Al-Khaleej FC in Saudi Arabia resolved the crisis of their Portuguese professional player, Pedro Rebocho , who found himself stranded in the United Arab Emirates for several days after flights were suspended due to recent events and weather conditions in the region. The club successfully arranged for the player's return to Saudi Arabia by land, ensuring his availability to rejoin the team's training sessions in preparation for upcoming matches in the Saudi Professional League.
Details of the return via the Al-Batha border crossing
After flights were suspended and air travel became impossible, Al-Khaleej FC's management acted swiftly to arrange for the return of the team's left-back via Al-Batha border crossing , the main land border crossing between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This move reflects the club's commitment to having a full squad before the upcoming match. The player has already arrived after a long overland journey, ending the period of anticipation experienced by the coaching staff and fans.
A race against time to face Al Hazm
Pedro Rebocho had traveled to Dubai for a short break granted by the coaching staff following the players' strenuous efforts in the team's last league match against Al- Ittihad . He was scheduled to return by air, but unforeseen circumstances prevented this. He is expected to rejoin the team's training session this Wednesday evening, where the coaching staff will assess his physical condition after the long overland journey, with the aim of including him in the starting lineup for the crucial match between Al-Khaleej and Al- Hazm next Friday evening.
The artistic value of Pedro Rebocho with Al Dana
The Portuguese star has been a cornerstone of Al-Khaleej's lineup since joining the team in the summer transfer window of 2023. Rebocho has proven his worth at left-back, delivering impressive performances that combine defensive solidity with effective attacking support. Al-Khaleej fans rely heavily on his runs and pinpoint crosses, which have contributed to creating numerous scoring opportunities for the team this season. His return before the Al-Hazm match will be a significant morale and tactical boost for the team as they strive to improve their position in the Saudi Professional League standings.
Administrative professionalism in dealing with crises
This swift action by Al-Khaleej Club's management reflects a high level of professionalism and responsibility towards the team's players. The management didn't wait for flights to return to normal but proactively found alternative solutions to ensure the team's stability.
