The Iranian Interior Ministry issued a statement urging citizens to remain calm and follow news from official sources, especially national media, following Israel’s attack on Iran, which resulted in the deaths of a number of our citizens, including women and children, and the assassination of a number of leaders and scientists.
The statement read: “While the Ministry of Interior offers its condolences on the martyrdom of a number of our dear citizens and a number of leaders and scholars, and in light of the current situation, the Crisis Management Center, with the presence and readiness of all relevant authorities and bodies (the municipality, emergency services, the fire department, police forces, the Red Crescent, and others), is continuously monitoring the situation and taking the necessary measures to manage the situation and maintain the safety of citizens.”.
The Crisis Management Authority urged citizens to remain calm and refrain from any hasty actions that could cause public anxiety, in order to maintain public order, and to rely only on official and reliable information. The statement added: “Official news and instructions should only be obtained from national media outlets, trusted communication channels, and official media. Furthermore, online activists should prioritize the psychological well-being of the community, avoid unnecessary travel whenever possible, and cooperate with relief workers when needed.”.

At the outset of the meeting, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince welcomed the Kingdom's guest, wishing him and his delegation a pleasant stay. Chancellor Merz expressed his great pleasure at visiting the Kingdom and meeting His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, praising the warm reception and generous hospitality.
Strengthening bilateral relations and economic partnership
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the long-standing bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federal Republic of Germany and discussed ways to develop them across various vital sectors.
