The Ministry of Commerce clarified the requirements and conditions for transferring ownership of a commercial registration for a sole proprietorship from and to another person via the electronic services of the Saudi Business Center’s business platform: business.sa .
The service targets Saudi or Gulf investors and is implemented within one day. It is required that the commercial registration be active, that the new owner does not own a commercial registration for a sole proprietorship, that the new owner is not a government employee, that he is at least 18 years old, and that the commercial registration name is not in the personal name of the transferor.

The ministry indicated that if the person from whom the commercial registration was transferred is deceased, a certificate of inheritance must be submitted, along with a guardianship certificate if there are minors, a legal power of attorney from all heirs stating the transfer of the establishment, and a sales and transfer contract from the heirs showing the registration number. This must be submitted electronically via the “Business Platform”.

At the outset of the meeting, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince welcomed the Kingdom's guest, wishing him and his delegation a pleasant stay. Chancellor Merz expressed his great pleasure at visiting the Kingdom and meeting His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, praising the warm reception and generous hospitality.
Strengthening bilateral relations and economic partnership
