The Ministry of Education: Notifications of completion for students who failed courses will be delivered before the fall break
Public schools (boys and girls) in the regions and governorates of the Kingdom closed their doors at the end of the school day yesterday (Thursday), marking the end of the academic term
Public schools (boys and girls) in the regions and governorates of the Kingdom closed at the end of the school day yesterday (Thursday), marking the end of the first semester of the current academic year 1446 AH.
The Ministry of Education stressed to all schools the necessity of announcing the results, emphasizing the importance of issuing completion notices to students who failed in the subjects and handing them over before they enjoy their autumn vacation this year, which lasts 9 days.
The ministry explained that the second-round exams, carry-over subjects, and failing subjects are considered an opportunity for the student to achieve success, noting that when the student takes the second-round exam or the carry-over subject exam, he retains the grades for the semester work (level, performance tasks, participation, and interaction), while he takes the failing subjects exam out of 100 marks, and he takes the formative assessment subjects according to what is stated in the circulars and guides regulating their exams.
She pointed out that when a student from the third to the sixth grade of primary school, and middle school students, obtains less than the minimum score of 50% in one of the subjects, the total grades of that subject in the first, second, and third semesters are considered to determine the semester in which the student completed with a score less than the minimum score of 50%, and accordingly, the semester in which the student takes the second round exam is determined.
The ministry clarified that a student in the primary and intermediate stage takes the second round exam in the following cases: if he is absent from the end exam of the first or second semester without an acceptable excuse, if he is absent from the end exam of the third semester, if the relative weight of the grade of the subject in the three semesters is less than 50%, and if he does not obtain the conditional percentage of 20% in the end exam of the third semester.
The student takes the second round exam in the secondary school track system in the following cases: if he is absent from the end-of-semester exam, if he obtains less than the minimum score of 50% in the subject, and if he does not obtain the conditional percentage (20 marks) in the end-of-semester exam.
End of the first semester
The student takes the failure test if his failure does not exceed 66% of the number of subjects of the three semesters at the beginning of the next academic year, and his test in the failure subjects is out of 100 marks, noting that the student in the course system in the secondary stage takes the test of the carried subjects in the following cases: if he is absent from the end of the semester test without an acceptable excuse, if he obtains less than the minimum limit of 50% in the subject, and if he does not obtain the conditional percentage of 20 marks in the end of the semester test.

Qatar shoots down two Sukhoi Su-24 fighter jets and intercepts ballistic missiles and drones
The Qatari Air Force shot down two Iranian Sukhoi Su-24 fighter jets and intercepted seven ballistic missiles and five drones. The Ministry of Defense confirmed its readiness and issued directives for remote operations.
In a remarkable field development, the Qatari Emiri Air Force announced today (Monday) that it had successfully shot down two Sukhoi 24 fighter jets coming from Iranian airspace, as part of intensive defensive operations that included intercepting seven ballistic missiles using advanced air defense systems.
The Qatari Ministry of Defense issued an official statement detailing the operation, noting that defense systems, in joint coordination between the Qatari Emiri Air Force and the Qatari Emiri Navy, also intercepted five drones targeting several vital areas within the country. The Ministry confirmed that these aerial threats were dealt with according to a precise and pre-planned operational strategy, resulting in the downing of all hostile missiles and drones before they reached their targets, without any damage.
Defense capabilities and military readiness
This military achievement reflects the significant development of the Qatari Armed Forces in recent years. As part of its defense strategy, Qatar has modernized its military arsenal with the latest fighter jets and global air defense systems. The ability to simultaneously engage fighter jets, ballistic missiles, and drones demonstrates the effectiveness of the country's command, control, and early warning network in protecting its airspace and territorial waters.
Context of tensions and their regional impact
This incident carries significant strategic implications given the sensitive geographical location of the Arabian Gulf region, a vital artery for global energy supplies. Such incidents typically raise concerns about regional stability, as international attention focuses on the importance of maintaining maritime and airspace security in this crucial area. Qatar's firm response sends a clear message about the country's readiness to defend its sovereignty against any airspace violations, regardless of their origin.
Internal precautionary measures
In a related development concerning the security situation, and as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of citizens and residents, Qatari authorities have directed the extension of remote work for all employees in all ministries and government agencies. This step is a standard procedure in security situations to reduce traffic on the streets and facilitate the movement of military vehicles and emergency teams if needed.
The Ministry of Defense concluded its statement by affirming that the Qatari Armed Forces possess all the necessary capabilities and resources to protect and preserve the sovereignty of the state and its territories, and that they will not hesitate to firmly and forcefully confront any external threat that affects the security and stability of the homeland.

Iran accuses Israel and the US of attacking the Natanz nuclear facility
The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization announces that the Natanz facility was attacked by Israel and the United States, and calls on the International Atomic Energy Agency to end its silence regarding the repeated violations of nuclear facilities.
The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, announced today (Monday) that the vital Natanz nuclear facility was subjected to a joint Israeli-American attack carried out in two phases, in a new escalation of the ongoing confrontation over Iran’s nuclear program.
In an official letter addressed to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, Eslami stated, “We strongly protest the repeated and brutal attacks by the American and Israeli regimes against our peaceful nuclear facilities.” The Iranian official explained that these attacks not only constitute an assault on Iranian sovereignty but also a blatant violation of the Geneva Conventions, the IAEA Statute, the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), and the Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement signed between Tehran and the Agency.
Calls to end international silence
Islami called on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to break its silence, putting an end to what he described as its "state of silence and inaction" regarding these violations. He stressed the need to condemn these actions, which blatantly contravene international law, and to fulfill the agency's obligations under its statute to protect facilities under its supervision.
Natanz: A history of targeting and sabotage
The Natanz facility holds paramount strategic importance in Iran's nuclear program. Located in the center of the country, it houses a massive complex of uranium enrichment centrifuges, much of which is underground to protect it from airstrikes. Due to its significance, the facility has been the target of several acts of sabotage and cyberattacks over the past decade.
Among the most significant events in the history of targeting this facility was the infamous Stuxnet cyberattack, discovered in 2010, which destroyed hundreds of centrifuges and was widely attributed to US-Israeli intelligence cooperation. The facility also experienced an explosion in April 2021 that caused a power outage and damaged enrichment systems, an incident Tehran described at the time as "nuclear terrorism" and accused Israel of being behind.
The repercussions of the conflict and its impact on the region
This Iranian announcement comes at a time of unprecedented tension in the region, with Israel continuing to assert that it will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, constantly brandishing the military option as a last resort. Meanwhile, Tehran seeks to strengthen its negotiating position and develop its nuclear capabilities in response to what it describes as Western pressure and economic sanctions.
Observers believe that the continuation of mutual attacks, whether cyber or physical, complicates the chances of reviving the nuclear agreement and increases the risk of a wider regional confrontation, especially in light of the stalled diplomatic efforts and hardening positions between Tehran and the Western powers.

US Central Command denies targeting aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln
The US Central Command denies Iran's claims of sinking the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, confirms the safety of its forces and reveals details of the targeting of the Iranian ship Shahid Bagheri.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) categorically denied reports and claims circulated by Iranian media outlets regarding the sinking or damaging of a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Arabian Gulf. In an official statement, CENTCOM asserted that these claims are part of a systematic disinformation campaign by the Iranian regime, describing the reports as "outright lies.".
The true field situation of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln
In a statement released via its X platform, U.S. Central Command clarified that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln sustained no damage and that the alleged missiles or threats never even approached its vicinity. The statement emphasized that the carrier is operating at full capacity, with its aircraft continuing routine takeoffs and landings in support of Central Command's ongoing missions, which are primarily aimed at protecting U.S. interests and defending regional security against Iranian threats and its proxies.
The story of “Martyr Bagheri” and the deliberate confusion
In refuting the Iranian narrative, the Central Command revealed a crucial military detail clarifying the true nature of the incident, stating that the only vessel actually struck was the Iranian ship "Shahid Bagheri." The Command explained that this vessel is not an aircraft carrier in the traditional sense, but rather an oil tanker that was converted and modified locally to serve as a drone launch platform. This reflects Tehran's attempts to exaggerate its military capabilities in the media by conflating strategic naval assets with modified vessels.
Strategic context and information warfare
This incident comes at a time of escalating tensions in the Middle East and a parallel psychological warfare campaign alongside the ground battles. American aircraft carriers, such as the nuclear-powered USS Abraham Lincoln (a Nimitz-class vessel), serve as floating air bases and symbols of global American military power. An attack on a vessel of this size is typically a major geopolitical event that cannot be ignored, given its crew size of over 5,000 sailors and the strict international monitoring of international waterways.
Observers believe that Tehran's resort to such claims falls within its asymmetric warfare strategy, seeking to boost domestic morale and send political messages to the region, even if these messages lack factual accuracy. The continued presence of the USS Abraham Lincoln in the region underscores the United States' commitment to maintaining freedom of navigation in vital waterways and deterring any attempts to destabilize the region.
