The Ministry of Tourism announced that the number of licenses for tourist hospitality facilities reached 4,425 licensed tourist facilities in various regions, with a growth rate of 89% for the year 2024.
Tourism Ministry spokesman Mohammed Al-Rasasmeh explained that the increasing number of licenses issued for tourist hospitality facilities is a result of the great efforts made by the ministry to enable operators and investors in the hospitality sector to obtain the necessary ministry license to operate, as part of the ministry’s keenness to ensure the improvement of services provided by hospitality facilities to tourists coming from inside and outside the country, in light of the great boom witnessed by the tourism sector in the Kingdom, and the increasing growth in the number of international and local tourists.
He pointed out that these efforts come within the framework of the “Our Guests Are a Priority” campaign, which aims to enhance the commitment of hospitality facilities to licensing and classification standards, and to ensure their compliance with the requirements and conditions set by the tourism system and its regulations.
