Today, on the tenth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance, it can be said that the magnitude of the profound achievements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it moves forward with balanced political, economic and social steps, has become a phenomenon at the regional and global level, as the Kingdom has turned during the past years into a point of attraction for the outside world, due to the amazing transformations and achievements that have become the talk of Western decision-making circles.
On the political level, the Kingdom has become a political brand not only at the regional level, but has gone beyond that as a result of the deep and wise political readings of everything that is happening in this world, and this is due to the principles governing Saudi foreign policy.
The Kingdom remains committed to the constants and principles for which its leaders have made efforts to establish and reach this level. Therefore, we find the Saudi harvest to be huge and very deep, as the Kingdom occupies advanced positions at the political and economic levels, and a remarkable presence at other levels.
These political principles did not prevent Saudi Arabia from taking steps toward change and modernization under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. But the question is, how did this country manage to steer the course of change with such confidence and competence? And how did it become so unprecedentedly present on the international stage? And how is all of this happening while preserving the Saudi essence and at this speed?
It is primarily about political will and a clear vision for the future, and how to take strong and confident steps. During the past two years, Saudi Arabia has gone through crucial stages in accordance with Vision 2030, which has transformed Saudis in general into a new kind of mindset that believes in positive change and building this nation, one of the pillars of the Middle East and a constant of its stability.
Saudi Arabia realizes that political success lies in balance and diversity in international relations, which requires close relations with all the influential countries in the world. Therefore, Saudi Arabia did not rely on historical relations with the United States, but Saudi diplomacy went beyond the American framework to the European one, and Riyadh succeeded in establishing strong political and economic relations with Britain and France, to complete the circle of international relations by turning to East Asia, where the huge economic power in the world is represented by China and Japan, which have distinguished economic relations with Riyadh. This political and economic diversity stems from the importance of the Kingdom at all levels.
Based on its political role in the Arab and Islamic world, Saudi Arabia has worked to promote political reconciliations between conflicting parties in the Arab and Islamic worlds. Perhaps the Saudi role in Pakistan in 2000 spared the country a confrontation between political parties, and Saudi Arabia’s hand was clearly visible in this regard.
At the Arab level, the ink of the Taif Agreement of 1990, which ended nearly two decades of Lebanese civil war, remains a testament to the Saudi role in supporting stability in the region, especially since this agreement remains a political doctrine in Lebanon, enjoys the approval of all Lebanese parties, and Lebanese political life proceeds under the shadow of this agreement.
The Palestinian issue is the most prominent file in Saudi diplomacy in international forums, as the Kingdom considers this file its priority from an Islamic and Arab standpoint, as well as from its duty towards the issues of justice. Perhaps the recent events in the Palestinian territories and the profound statement of the Saudi Foreign Ministry, which affirmed the right of the Palestinians to live within their state and the need to reduce escalation to prevent any violent slides at the level of the region, prove the credibility and far-sightedness of the Saudi political vision for a safe Middle East, free from violence and capable of living in safety.
The Kingdom has presented many political initiatives regarding the Palestinian issue, including the 2002 peace initiative, which has become a point of agreement among all global powers, in addition to the positive political roles that Saudi Arabia has played in more than one Arab country.
The path that the Kingdom is taking at all levels constitutes a Saudi roadmap based on the diversity of relations according to mutual national interests. Perhaps the reputation that the Kingdom has reached in the last decade confirms the size and quality of these transformations that came at a golden moment in the Kingdom’s history.

Saudi Arabia discusses with Kuwait and Syria the repercussions of Iranian attacks

The call focused on discussing the repercussions of the brutal Iranian aggression that targeted Kuwaiti territory and several other countries in the region. During the call, both sides expressed their strong condemnation and absolute denunciation of these hostile acts, which constitute a flagrant violation of international norms and laws, and a direct threat to regional security and peace.
In reaffirming the deep fraternal ties and shared destiny that bind the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, Prince Faisal bin Farhan reiterated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering position and complete solidarity with the sisterly State of Kuwait. In a related development, the Foreign Minister received a telephone call from his Syrian counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, during which they reviewed the latest developments in the region and discussed the current dangerous escalation. Both sides agreed on the gravity of the current situation, which necessitates joint Arab coordination to confront the challenges.
Both the Saudi and Syrian sides strongly condemned the brutal Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and several neighboring countries.
