The Ministry of Education announces the regulations for written exams and the tasks of the exam committees

The education departments stressed the importance of early preparation for the final exams of the third semester of the academic year 1446 AH, and the preparation, preparation and conduct of the exams in the best possible way, and the adjustment of the procedural processes and the time plan from Sunday 13-11-1446 AH to 24-11-1446 AH. Exam, monitoring and auditing committees will be formed, questions and answer keys will be prepared and delivered, the exam schedule will be announced, and the monitoring of the year's work for all grades will be completed.
From Sunday, 27-11-1446 AH to 2-12-1446 AH, oral and practical tests will be implemented within the school day, the review of lessons for all grade levels will be completed, the case of students who were unable to achieve the minimum skills will be studied and a decision will be issued regarding the first and second grades of primary school and the first grade of continuing education, and the entry of grades for subjects with two sides and continuous assessment subjects for all grades will be completed.
The program specified that from Sunday 19-12-1446 AH to Monday 27-12-1446 AH, the end-of-term exams for the third semester, first round, for all educational levels, and the central exams for the third and sixth grades of primary school and the third intermediate grade, and the closing of the first round grades, the announcement of results, the delivery of completion and failure notices, the schedule of the second round exams, and the inventory of the failing subjects for students expected to graduate in the secondary stage.
From Tuesday, 28-12-1446 AH to 1-1-1447 AH, the second round of exams for the third semester will be held for all educational levels, and requests for grade adjustments will be accepted.
The directive stressed that the schedule of central tests for the classes and targeted subjects for the primary and intermediate stages is issued by the General Administration for Cognitive and Skill Performance Evaluation, and will be communicated in due course.
The circular stated that the evaluation of student performance in all evaluation criteria included in the Noor system for all subjects for the third semester of the school grades and the first grade (continuing education), and the work of monitoring them in the Noor system and extracting the results before the end of the workday on Thursday, 1-1-1447 AH.
The circular revealed the necessity for schools not targeted by the application and schools with students exempted from applying centralized tests to build class and subject test questions according to the specifications table.
The central exam for the third semester excludes special education programs and departments, continuing education schools, and students with special needs registered in the Noor system at schools without special education programs. These students have learning difficulties, physical and health disabilities, and hearing and vision impairments. Also excluded are students with autism, high functioning, ADHD, and those whose circumstances prevent them from taking the exams at school. This includes students detained in prisons/reformatories, students with urgent or chronic illnesses preventing their attendance, students confined to their homes for extended periods due to severe or contagious illnesses, students serving on the borders, and students hospitalized in oncology centers and hospitals, or those in similar circumstances undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
The directive stated that for grades from the third grade of primary school up to the third grade of secondary school, and the second and third grades, teachers are to be assigned to prepare the questions for the end of the third semester exam, alternative exams, second round exams, and failure tests for the track system, and answer models and submit them to the school administration, except for the subjects targeted for the application of the central exams mentioned in item three, with the commitment to building the questions for the exams of the grades and subjects according to the specifications table, and applying what is stated in the guide to exam systems and procedures 1444 AH.
Oral tests and formative assessment materials will be conducted on 27-11-1446 AH, for three days, to be within the school day (including oral materials for distance learning students), as well as written tests for subjects with two sides (practical and oral/written), in which the written grade is equal to or less than the grade allocated (oral/practical) for all study levels.
Written tests will begin on Sunday, 19-12-1446 AH, for students in all educational stages. The schedule for the final tests will be announced well in advance, with adherence to the test dates for the subjects targeted by the application of the central tests mentioned in item three, provided that the number of test subjects does not exceed two subjects per day, and one subject for students of disability programs.
The student who is absent/disconnected from the exam is recorded as (absent) and does not receive a zero in the Noor system, nor is his registration cancelled. The teacher is responsible for recording the results of the continuous assessment and the final exam grades in the Noor system.
No student who took the end-of-term exam will be retaken. The student or their guardian has the right to request a review of the answer sheet within a period not exceeding one week from the announcement of the result. The education departments in the governorates, the private education office, and the education offices are responsible for monitoring the completion of entering and closing the grades for schools at all levels of education before the end of the workday on Thursday, 1-1-1447 AH.
