Media personality Maha Al-Saghir and her driver filed an official report against her ex-husband, artist Ahmed El-Sakka, accusing him of verbally and physically assaulting them in a dramatic incident that took place near a famous compound in Sixth of October City.
According to the complainants, the details of the incident go back to the moment when Maha Al-Saghir and her driver entered the “City View” compound, where they were surprised by the car of the artist Ahmed Al-Sakka blocking their way, in an attempt to prevent them from entering.
According to the report, the driver said that he tried to drive away with the car, but El-Sakka chased them inside the compound and stopped them, before getting out of his car and starting to insult his ex-wife Maha El-Soghayar, then physically assaulting her, according to his statements.
The driver, named Mahmoud S., indicated that he tried to intervene to break up the fight and prevent El Sakka from assaulting his ex-wife, but the artist also hit him several times, which prompted him to file a report about the incident.
The investigating authorities are examining the submitted report and hearing the statements of both parties, in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures.
