Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossari announced today (Wednesday) the signing of more than 50 agreements and initiatives worth more than one billion riyals to develop the digital influence industry in Saudi Arabia, in addition to launching the largest media data platform in the Middle East, supported by artificial intelligence, to analyze media data and enhance its ability to influence.

During the opening of the ImpaQ Influencers Forum in Riyadh today, the Minister of Information affirmed that the forum, which will be attended by more than 1,500 local and international influencers, will be a major platform for concluding the largest digital influence deals in the region, in partnership with global companies such as Snapchat, X, and TikTok, in addition to international groups such as MBC and the Saudi Media Group.

During his speech at the forum, he announced an international award for influencers, which will be presented at the next edition of the Influencers Forum. He also referred to the new version of the “Global Harmony” initiative, launched by the Ministry of Information in partnership with the Quality of Life Program and the General Entertainment Authority, to promote cultural communication among the peoples of the world, noting that the forum will be a launching pad for major influence platforms.

Minister Al-Dossari said: “The forum is witnessing the signing of acquisitions and mergers between local and international companies in the field of influencer manufacturing,” noting the transformation of a number of applications into social media platforms.

He added, “2024 represents the year of media transformation, while 2025 will be the year of influence.” He praised Saudi Vision 2030, spearheaded by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and highlighted Riyadh’s role as a capital of inspiration and influence, and a hub for hosting major international events such as Expo and the World Cup.

40 programs and events

The forum will feature over 40 programs and events, spanning 12 hours daily, exploring the realities and methods of influence across 14 different tracks. The events will take place in seven main areas, including innovative and interactive workshops on creating impactful content, presentations of inspiring success stories highlighting the role of influence in driving change, and discussions on the future of social media platforms.

The forum aims to redefine the concept of influence, promote community values, and exchange diverse experiences and knowledge, while highlighting local and international competencies and talents. The forum includes the participation of more than 1,500 local and international influencers, who are followed by more than one billion people around the world.

The forum, held under the slogan "Inspiration Beyond Numbers," will be attended by prominent local and international figures, aiming to redefine the concept of influence through real achievements that go beyond traditional numbers.

The forum, which will take place over two days, December 18 and 19, will witness the launch of more than 50 announcements and agreements for the first time, in cooperation with more than 24 local and international partners.

The forum spans over 23,000 square meters and covers 14 main tracks, including media, artificial intelligence, health, arts, environment, and sustainability. It also features panel discussions, workshops, and creative spaces, such as the "Innovation Theater," which addresses prominent issues like the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence, and the future of video game content.

The forum includes dedicated spaces, including an innovation space to showcase the latest technologies, an impact space that highlights media transformations, and a lab space to present inspiring experiences in culture, arts, and technology.

The sessions of “Impact Talk,” which showcase global success stories, include “My Story from Brooklyn to Diriyah,” “My Journey from Space and Smart Cities,” and “The Hard Number in Esports.”.

It is noted that the forum reflects the Kingdom’s leadership as a center for digital media and content creation, as it promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences between influencers and decision-makers.
