The workshop focused on the art of mandala as an artistic means of psychological release and achieving inner balance, where the artist Warda provided a simplified explanation about the symbolism of the repeating circles in the mandala, and how this art can be a safe space to express deep feelings and relieve tension in an aesthetic way.
Warda said: “This workshop is not just about drawings, but a silent language through which the mother expresses her sadness, strength, and patience. Art heals as much as words do, and perhaps even more.”.
Many mothers expressed their relief and gratitude for this initiative, which gave them moments of happiness amidst the pressures of daily life.
This workshop aims to provide psychological and social support to patients' families, and to highlight the importance of art as an effective means of indirect psychological therapy.
